There is a concept known as ‘The Butterfly Effect’.
It states that little insignificant event in our lives can snowball into big events that change everything.
That is exactly what happened to me.
A couple of decades ago as a child, I was taught that in order to have a good life, you had to study hard, get good grades, get into a good university and then a good career.
Then you’re supposed to get married, have kids, work hard, raise kids…
Eventually, when your kids grow up and move on with their lives, hopefully to have save enough to retire and go on cruises.
Then, you die (that part was not explained too well to me).
I was taught to live by society’s expectations of how one should live: a respectable career, a normal job, and a big house with a picket fence.
So in my teens, I decided that I would get into a great school, get good grades, and get a good career.
Years later, I was a medical doctor.
Except that I was not your average medical doctor.
I enjoyed aspects of the job: the interesting patients, the stable paycheck, the challenges both intellectually and emotionally.
But I was not fulfilled.
I believed that I could create so much more change in the world… on a much bigger scale.
I started to examine everything in my life and question every assumption I once made.
I realized that my passion was in creating and building businesses, connecting with people, and personal development.
So I quit working as a hospital doctor, and chased my big dreams.
It was not an easy few years, but my life now cannot be more different from a couple of years ago.
I now do what I love and make enough to afford a lifestyle that allowed me to travel to 32+ countries in the past 2 years.
I sold everything I owned, and have little material possessions.

My focus is to live life without a day of regret, while having fun doing what I love and to be constantly growing and contributing. For the next 3-5 years, I plan to:
-Build companies that create useful tools to change the world
-Become financially free
-Travel to over 80 countries in the world
-Develop myself physically, mentally, and spiritually, and to be fit and healthy
-Have a much better understanding of how I want to live and contribute to others

I created this blog to chart not only my travels, but challenges, learnings and insights I gained from business, life, friends, mentors and personal development, as I move towards my higher goals. I also believe that I will learn as much from my readers as I share.
Let’s go chase those dreams!
