I use that often to rent condos instead of hotels. The rates are usually lower and you get so much more space plus kitchen, free internet, etc. I made my first trip to Santa Monica a few weeks back, but I didn't stay there locally. Really nice spot and definitely pricey accommodation to boot. When I think Travelodge, I think yucky hotel. What was the hotel like there? Rooms clean?
